DCW Limited, a heavy chemical Industry, with a turnover of Rs 1000 Crores ,was started by PadmaBhushan Sri Sriyan Prasath Jain, a freedom fighter a close friend of Sri Mahathma Gandhi during 1958. It caters the nedds of app 3000 families in and around of Arumuganeri a village in Tuticorin Dist. This is the industry whcih gives almost 90% of District's income like Sales Tax, Excise duty etc. We do a lot service like eye camp and other health camp to meet the health requirement of locals and employed in our Company. We conduct a lot of seminors like AMAI and other educational seminors to promote awarness of our employees. Simply we can say DCW is the best industry in Tamilnadu , whcih generates power from Coal and supplies to our Tamilnadu Governement through power coporation. This day is the day in 1958 the industry came in line to work. Today our beloved president Mr.Mudit jain, prsides over the function and Mr.G.Prakash Dist Collector gives the key note. Our beloved good friend and Chief of our unit Sri G.Srinivasan delivers his felicitations and will be recorde with a lot of good will impression by local body executives and eminent people of this area.Our dixtrict collector Mr.G.prakash, came in time.Mr V.Sundram first Chairman of Tuticorin Port Trust gave a very good speech. All talked about our Founder chairman Sri S.P jain, a great politician, and a very modest and noble person and Mr.K.Kamaraj, a great patriot and disple of Dherar Sathyamoorthy, and king maker in those days who took grat interest to bring this industry to our Tamilandu. Mr. Prakash appreciated for the social work by our comany ie eyecamps, building shelters in busstops, and for a very big school in the name of our Founder chairman's lady mt kamalvathi Jain, whcih gives good eduction to the area students for a very reasonable price. Our president Sri Mudit jain, a great human appreciated the teachers and staff of school for their hard work and good results. He requested local and central governments to give concessions to run the factory atleast with min profit, to give life to 3,000 families. But for this industry the area will not have good money circulation, the local peoples requirement is also met . By and large our factory is one of the best in Tamilnadu to give more income, more employment opportunities, keeping a good industrial relation with all constraints.
